The Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival is held annually in February, encouraging blues and roots fanatics to travel to Agnes Water / Town of 1770 and immerse themselves in the tunes and the delights of the destination.
Event organisers, Discovery Coast Tourism & Commerce Inc (DCTC) is a non profit, local business organisation, established in 2001 to promote and develop tourism and economic activity for Discovery Coast businesses to grow and prosper.
DCTC took on the role of organising the Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival at the end of 2014 from previous the organizers, Gladstone Regional Council.
The 2015 Festival presented by DCTC was a very successful event, despite rescheduling due to Tropical Cyclone Marcia, and the performer list for 2016 has been three times oversubscribed, so it’s sure to be an event not to miss!
The confirmed dates for the 2016 Agnes Blues Roots and Rock Festival are Friday 19th, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st February 2016 and the event will be held at the SES Grounds, Captain Cook Drive, Seventeen Seventy, Qld 4677.
