Photographers the winners at RTC celebrations!
On Tuesday this week, the Agnes Water Rural Transaction Centre (RTC), celebrated their fourth year anniversary of moving into their new premises with a morning tea where the winners of the ‘Discovery Coast – Four Elements’ photo competition were announced.
The competition was split into three different categories; earth, wind, water and fire. Janina Speck, winning both the wind and water categories. ‘I took the windmill photograph on the last day of the deadline,’ said Janina.
Wayne Zollner won the fire section, and Scott Bankier, below, won earth.
The RTC provided morning tea after the presentation, with sweets and refreshments.
‘Thanks to the ladies at the RTC; the food was yummy,’ said Janina.
It has been four years since the opening of the new RTC building. Each year the ladies of the RTC celebrate by welcoming guests to join them for morning tea.
‘All in all, the 2015 Agnes Water photography competition was a success and everybody should be looking towards taking photographs for next year’s entries. We try to have a variety of categories each year,’ said RTC staff member Helen Brunton.
